Mission & Vision

Our Mission

The mission of Cub Scout Pack 346 is to provide a family-centered program in Knoxville that prepares young boys and girls for life through outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and community service, building leaders of character who are prepared to do their best in every challenge they face.

Our Vision

We envision a community where every child develops a strong moral foundation, lifelong self-reliance, and a genuine passion for service and environmental stewardship—empowering them to grow into active, compassionate leaders in our community.

What We Do: Our Programs & Impact

• Outdoor Adventure & Campouts: We organize structured family camping trips, hiking excursions, and outdoor survival skills instruction at local state parks and regional camps, instilling self-reliance, outdoor ethics, and appreciation for nature.

• STEM & Hands-On Learning: Through annual traditions like the Pinewood Derby, model rocket launches, and badge work, scouts learn basic physics, woodworking, engineering, and problem-solving through active play.

• Community Service & Civic Duty: Pack 346 scouts actively serve Knoxville and surrounding Knox County through park cleanups, food drives, and community service projects that teach civic responsibility and neighborly care.

• Leadership & Character Building: Our rank-based den structure (Lions to Arrow of Light) encourages teamwork, personal growth, and accountability, guided by the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
